The Consellería of Education has already published the draft of the new decree of baccalaureate that regulates the subjects that these pupils will study, and the hourly load of every matter. If the proposal is approved without modifications, the students will have from the next course less hours of Physical education, of Philosophy and of Religion, although the last one will recover school load in the second course.La Consellería de Educación ya ha publicado el borrador del nuevo decreto de bachillerato que regula las asignaturas que cursarán estos alumnos, y la carga horaria de cada materia. Si la propuesta se aprueba sin modificaciones, los estudiantes tendrán a partir del próximo curso menos horas de Educación Física, de Filosofía y de Religión, aunque esta última recuperará carga lectiva en el segundo curso.
In particular, the matters will stay as they are given at present, with the exception of Physical education, which happens of two weekly hours to one; Philosophy and Citizenship, which loses also one hour; and Religion, which if earlier it was given only in first, with two hours, now is distributed between the first and the second. The spokesman of the nationalistic trade union CIG-Ensino, Anxo Louzao, tells that one of the incongruities of this decree is to remain one hour to the Philosophy of first, when content is extended on having added Citizenship to him in the same matter. Other one of the criticism towards the draft is that in the second course one hour reduces the matter of History of Spain. In these moments, to the text he lacks three steps: the debate in the sectorial table - next Thursday - in Consello Escolar and in Consello Consultivo. Otra de las críticas hacia el borrador es que en segundo curso se reduzca una hora la materia de Historia de España. En estos momentos, al texto le faltan tres pasos: el debate en la mesa sectorial -el próximo jueves-, en el Consello Escolar y en el Consello Consultivo. Según Louzao, la lentitud en aprobar los currículos acabará provocando que no se ratifiquen hasta el mes de junio, como ocurrió el año pasado con los de secundaria.

The Physical education reduction in baccalaureate has provoked the criticism of the Official School of Bachelors in Physical education and in Sciences of the Physical activity and of the Sport of Gallicia, which remind to the Administration that one of the four children in the community has excess weight. The teachers of this matter claim that there is reconsidered the hourly load of Physical education, which the minimums regulate in three weekly hours, so much in secondary as in baccalaureate, and that there is opened the possibility of offering the fourth optional hour to the centers.La reducción de Educación Física en bachillerato ha provocado las críticas del Colegio Oficial de Licenciados en Educación Física y en Ciencias de la Actividad Física y del Deporte de Galicia, que recuerdan a la Administración que uno de cada cuatro niños en la comunidad tiene sobrepeso. Los docentes de esta materia reclaman que se reconsidere la carga horaria de Educación Física, que se regulen los mínimos en tres horas semanales, tanto en secundaria como en bachillerato, y que se abra la posibilidad de ofrecer una cuarta hora optativa a los centros.
The group remembers also that the European Parliament approved in November, 2007 a report in which one asks the Member states that should be given at least three times a week, up cheering them even to overcome this minimum.El colectivo recuerda también que el Parlamento Europeo aprobó en noviembre del 2007 un informe en el que se pide a los Estados miembros que se imparta por lo menos tres veces a la semana, animándolos incluso a superar este mínimo.
